In Brazil, dance is an art form that is an integral part of popular culture. Brazilians love to party, and dances are an essential means of expression and celebration. The diversity of Brazilian dances is remarkable, blending various influences from all regions of the country.


The samba, emblematic of Brazil, embodies the festive spirit and joie de vivre of the Brazilian people.

The frevo, acrobatic and playful, comes from the state of Pernambuco. 

The maracatu, a blend of ritual and tradition, is an ancestral dance that tells the story of the Afro-Brazilian people.

The revue ‘Féérie Brésilienne’ by the Compagnie SOLEIL DES TROPIQUES is an enchanting ode to Brazil and the world of dance.

On stage, bodies intertwine, carried along by frenzied rhythms. The shimmering costumes evoke the passion and warmth of Brazil. Between samba, capoeira and frevo, the audience is transported into a whirlwind of colours, where joie de vivre and contagious energy come together. A show that celebrates the life, culture and magic of this vibrant country.


The company 

The ‘Soleil des Tropiques’ troupe was created in 2004 by musician, singer and entertainer Jean-Luc SAHAI, after many years of contributing to the success of major revues in the tropical cabarets of the Champs Elysées. 

Jean-Luc SAHAI created his own troupe in collaboration with choreographer Mélanie FILS-AIME, in order to export their know-how around the world, accompanied by dancers, music
