The ‘Soleil des Tropiques’ troupe was created in 2004 by musician, singer and entertainer Jean-Luc SAHAI, after many years of contributing to the success of major revues in the tropical cabarets of the Champs Elysées.

The ‘Soleil des Tropiques’ troupe was created in 2004 by musician, singer and entertainer Jean-Luc SAHAI, after many years of contributing to the success of major revues in the tropical cabarets of the Champs Elysées.
Jean-Luc SAHAI created his own troupe in collaboration with choreographer Mélanie FILS-AIME, in order to export their know-how around the world, accompanied by dancers, musicians, singers, limbo dancers, steel drum players, percussionists...
The Troupe is made up of professional musicians and dancers of Caribbean or Latin American origin with extensive experience in prestige shows.
The number of performers on stage can be adjusted to suit the venue and/or event (from 5 to 20 performers depending on demand).

A tropical fairytale combining the best of Brazilian music and dance, this show is a real invitation to travel to the heart of Brazil. From Salvador de Bahia, the Mecca of Afro-Brazilian culture, to Rio de Janeiro, the birthplace of the samba, via the Nordeste, the dancers in their sumptuous costumes show you the richness and cultural diversity of this marvellous country, a land of interbreeding and encounters between European, African and Amerindian peoples.
Each tableau is a tribute to different traditions in a shimmering whirlwind of rhythm, colour and emotion. The grace of the Bahian dancers, the magic of the Carioca carnival, the breathtaking capoeira demonstrations to the sound of the berimbau and the spicy choreography of the Recife frevo will give you an unforgettable exotic experience for the duration of the show.
