The African percussion workshops introduce you to the basics of the musical language of West Africa so that you can improvise with professional percussionists and dancers.
This workshop will introduce you to the cultures of West Africa through percussion, song, dance and storytelling. Participants will discover a different cultural context in a fun way, helping them to better understand the differences and similarities that exist between peoples. They will evolve in a rich musical environment in which they can create, learn and express themselves. What's more, by playing percussion together, participants can develop their sense of citizenship, increase their ability to listen and respect others, and boost their self-esteem.

Weekend and school holiday courses on request run by experienced teachers trained in Brazil for all audiences by master percussionists trained in Africa.
